“THE VIEW” WELCOMES FIRST-TIME GUEST ROBERT PATTINSON, LIVE, MARCH 2

Robert Pattinson, undeniably one of today’s most recognizable, popular and most sought-after stars, takes his first “bite” out of ABC’s Emmy(r) award-winning talk show, “The View, live, TUESDAY, MARCH 2 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET) on the ABC Television Network, in his first-ever appearance on the show. Pattison will appear along with Emilie De Raven, his co-star in the upcoming film “Remember Me.”

Set for release in March 2010, “Remember Me” stars Pattinson as unruly New York college student Tyler who is dealing with a personal tragedy and falls in love with Ally (Emilie De Raven).

Pattinson (a.k.a. “RPattz”) is an English actor, singer/musician and model who was first introduced to movie audiences as Cedric Diggory in “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” But it’s his starring role as the sultry, brooding, sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the “Twilight” saga that catapulted him to instant stardom. The highly anticipated third installment, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” will be released later this year. Pattinson, who composes his own music, sings two of the songs on the “Twilight” soundtrack, “Never Think” and “Let Me Sign.” In 2008 People magazine dubbed him one of the “Sexiest Men Alive.”
