I’ve been raving about Twitter since I joined over two years ago but now what I find so fun and interesting is to read the tweets from celebrities who enjoy being on Twitter and those who even rave about it on television (such as Sean Diddy Combs on the Ellen Degeneres show), on radio and publications.Â
Let’s take a look at the latest twitters from celebrities. This is part 1 of “The One about the Celebrities on Twitter”:
Demi Moore: http://twitter.com/mrskutcher
Ashton Kutcher: http://twitter.com/aplusk
The Mr. and Mrs. Kutcher have introduced Twitter to many celebs and these two have been on the social media scene on Twitter and Facebook. Both communicate with their followers but Demi is also uses Twitpic to showcase photos with her and the family. Including guest Tweets from celebs like Bruce Willis.
Jimmy Fallon: http://twitter.com/jimmyfallon
Fallon is a hardcore Tweeter. Always promoting his show and the upcoming guests but also communicating with his followers.
Shaquille O’Neal: http://twitter.com/THE_REAL_SHAQ
Shaq is a hardcore Tweeter. The guy is quick on posting on TwitBerry and he’s made over 600 posts and an athlete who is good at communicating with his followers.
Taylor Swift: http://twitter.com/TaylorSwift13
Just new to the Twitter scene, Taylor Swift is going to be an interesting to watch. Like her music, good with writing down her thoughts, Swift will be a fun person to follow on Twitter.
John Mayer: http://twitter.com/aplusk
Sure, we love reading John Mayer’s blog but you know when you have Mayer on Twitter, it’s going to be a fun to read his postings. Mayer’s like Shaq and Fallon is good and posting and communicating with their followers.
Sean Diddy Combs: http://twitter.com/IAMDIDDY
On a recent appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Sean Diddy Combs talked about how Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher got him to Twitter and now he’s loving it. His posts are about positivity and overall, good insight!
Ryan Seacrest: http://twitter.com/RyanSeacrest
Ryan Seacrest is a busy man who has a radio show, TV show, shows he produces and “American Idol” keeps this man busy. So, you can read his daily adventures and which celebrity he’s with at the moment.
Lily Allen: http://twitter.com/lilyroseallen
Singer Lily Allen is a person who is always intriguing and someone you follow just to know what she’s thinking. ‘Nuff said!
Mischa Barton: http://twitter.com/MischaBarton
Mischa Barton is new to Twitter but she’s communicating with her followers and gives followers a taste of what’s happening with her life.
Rachel Bilson: http://twitter.com/rachel_bilson
Rachel is not as Twittery as her former O.C. castmate Mischa Barton but hopefully we will see more posts.
Greg Grunberg: http://twitter.com/greggrunberg
If you think Shaq was hardcore with his tweets, Greg Grunberg of “HEROES” is just as hardcore and he is very communicative with his followers. Fellow castmast Ali Larter calls Greg Grunberg “a Twitter”. If you think Greg is the only Heroes star that is a hardcore Twitter, definitely check out David Lawrence’s twitter, who is just as hardcore as Greg is.
Snoop Dog: http://twitter.com/snoopdogg
Like Demi Moore, Snoop Dog is communicative with his followers and also down with using TwitPic. Another star that utilizes Twitter a lot.
Katy Perry: http://twitter.com/katyperry
Katy Perry is definitely twittering quite a bit. A new Tweeter and another talent that would be fun to follow!
Lady GaGa: http://twitter.com/ladygaga
Lady GaGa is interesting because she started Twittering back in March 2008. But she stopped for a year and now taking advantage of it even more now. But interesting enough, a talent that doesn’t follow anyone.
Britney Spears: http://twitter.com/Britneyspears
Britney Spears started Twittering several months ago and it’s cool that she’s been posting a little about being on tour and even pictures ala TwitPic.
Hulk Hogan: http://twitter.com/RealHulkHogan
Brooke Hogan: http://twitter.com/Brookehogan
Both father and daughter on Twitter. Hulk Hogan is very good to follow (especially if you want to read his banter with Randy “Macho Man” Savage on Twitter and are wrestling fans). Brooke is also starting to become a big tweeter as well.
Kevin Pollak: http://twitter.com/kevinpollak
Kevin Pollak is one of the hardcore celebrity tweeters. Reading his posts are always fun!
John Cleese: http://twitter.com/JohnCleese
Always a pleasure to have a legend like John Cleese on Twitter. And he’s an avid tweeter and communicates with his followers.
Levar Burton: http://twitter.com/Levarburton
Levar Burton is a hardcore Tweeter. Heck, the guy even scheduled a tweetup in Canada while he was there. It’s great to hear more from Levar, especially when he and Leo Laporte get-together for a TwiT episode.
Lance Armstrong: http://twitter.com/Lancearmstrong
Shaq is not the only athlete who loves to use Twitter. Lance Armstrong is also a hardcore tweeter and responds to his followers!
MC Hammer: http://twitter.com/mchammer
Similar to Levar Burton, MC Hammer also kicks it with some of the tech-based companies and a familiar face to the Twitter scene. Definitely one of the hardcore talents that loves to tweet!
