In his only television interview since accusing Lance Armstrong of doping, American cyclist Floyd Landis talks exclusively to ABC News correspondent Neal Karlinsky on a special edition of “Nightline,” airing FRIDAY, JULY 23 (11:35 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Stripped of his Tour de France Title in 2006 for testing positive for using a banned substance, Landis explains his decision to accuse his former teammate and multiple tour champion of doping. Armstrong has denied Landis’ claims and has said that Landis is a liar. There is currently a federal investigation into possible doping on the U.S. Postal team, where Armstrong and Landis were teammates, prompted by a series of emails Landis recently sent to cycling authorities.
“Nightline” is anchored by Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran, and Martin Bashir. James Goldston is the executive producer. “Nightline” airs at 11:35 p.m., ET weeknights on the ABC Television Network.
