SYFY SATURDAY ORIGINAL MOVIE “RED: WEREWOLF HUNTER”, STARRING FELICIA DAY, CAPTURES MORE THAN TWO MILLION TOTAL VIEWERS DURING OCTOBER 30 PREMIERE

TOP CABLE MOVIE OF THE DAY AMONG ADULTS 25-54

NEW YORK – November 2, 2010 – The Syfy Saturday Original Movie Red: Werewolf Hunter chased down 2.06 million total viewers along with nearly one million Adults 25-54 (959,000) during its premiere on Saturday, October 30, from 9-11PM (ET/PT).

Red: Werewolf Hunter was the top cable movie for the day among Adults 25-54, propelling Syfy to #2 among cable entertainment networks in prime in this demo.

The movie also drew 746,000 Adults 18-49 while averaging a 1.5 HH rating.

Red: Werewolf Hunter starred Felicia Day (The Guild, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-a-long Blog, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) as a descendant of Little Red Riding Hood. In the movie, Red (Day) brings her fiancé home, where he meets the family and learns about their business — hunting werewolves. He’s skeptical until bitten by a werewolf. When her family insists he must be killed, Red tries saving him.

The next Syfy Saturday Original Movie will be The Lost Future, starring Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings).
