SOCCER SUPERSTAR DAVID BECKHAM TO MAKE HIS FIRST VISIT TO CBS’s “LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN,” FRIDAY, APRIL 30

Soccer superstar David Beckham will make his first visit to the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Friday, April 30 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

A fixture of British soccer since he began his career at age 17 with Manchester United, Beckham, a member of the English Football Hall of Fame and the English World Cup soccer team, has also played for Real Madrid and is now the star midfielder for U.S. Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Galaxy. Beckham is currently recovering from a torn Achilles tendon, an injury sustained when he was playing for AC Milan while on loan from the Galaxy.

Also visiting the LATE SHOW on Friday, April 30 are stand-up comedian Mike Birbiglia and musical guests The Hold Steady.
