During the month of June, CBS Interactive Music Group’s award-winning concert webcast series, LIVE ON LETTERMAN, presented by AT&T, will showcase alternative Los Angeles foursome Silversun Pickups and infectious indie rockers The Temper Trap in live webcasts from the world-famous Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City, available on CBS.com and VEVO, on Monday, June 4 (8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT) and Wednesday, June 6 (9:00 PM, ET/6:00 PM, PT), respectively.
Silversun Pickups will perform songs from throughout their career, including new music from their recent Top 10 Billboard charting release, Neck of the Woods, including lead single “Bloody Mary (Nerve Endings).†The Temper Trap will play songs from their two albums, Conditions and their forthcoming self-titled release, which was produced by Tony Hoffer (M83, Beck, Phoenix) and which will be released Tuesday, June 5, the day before their webcast performance.  The LIVE ON LETTERMAN franchise, which has surpassed 110 million views to date on CBS.com and VEVO, has hosted some of the most established bands and musicians across the globe in an intimate and dynamic setting for worldwide followers to enjoy.

Silversun Pickups, with lead vocalist and guitarist Brian Aubert, bassist Nikki Monninger, keyboardist Joe Lester and drummer Christopher Guanlao, have sold more than one million records worldwide.  The band emerged with 2005’s Pikul EP and soon caught the attention of the world with the following year’s Carnavas, which included the breakthrough single “Lazy Eye.† The band’s blockbuster second album, 2009’s Swoon, features standout tracks such as “Panic Switch†and “The Royal We†and established Silversun Pickups as a potent force in rock music, further confirmed by a 2009 GRAMMY® Award nomination for Best New Artist.  The group’s latest effort, Neck of the Woods, debuted at #6 on the Billboard Top 200, marking the highest chart position in the band’s career. Silversun Pickups will be touring throughout 2012 and 2013, including summer festival dates in the United States and Canada.
The Temper Trap features singer Dougy Mandagi, guitarist Lorenzo Sillitto, bassist Jonathan Aherne, drummer Toby Dundas and keyboardist Joseph Greer.  The Australian-born and London-based quintet formed in 2005 and broke through three years ago with their single “Sweet Disposition,†which was featured prominently in movies, television and commercials.  The band has been recognized with nominations and awards from the likes of ARIA, APRA and the BRITS, and their latest self-titled effort is led by the singles “Need Your Love†and “Trembling Hands.† The new album was inspired by the band’s surroundings and life experiences, including the riots in their adopted home of London.  The Temper Trap will be on tour in Europe, Australia and North America throughout the summer.
