Former Governor Mitt Romney will make his second visit to the popular daytime talk show, live, Tuesday, February 1. Their scheduled appearances are all part of the show’s continuing “Red, White & View” campaign highlighting interviews and informational segments that promote civic responsibility.”

“For politicians, ‘The View,’ on ABC is a halfway house in between a CNN interrogation and the razzing of ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.'” — The New York Times, Marc, 2008.

“You need to know about (‘The View’) because all the political candidates show up on it eventually, and the panelists engage one another in some of the sharpest and most intensely publicized conversations about various matters of urgent public concerns.” — Arkansas-Democrat Gazette, August 2008.

Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty served as the 39th Governor of Minnesota. He was elected governor in the gubernatorial election of 2002 and was re-elected in 2006. On June 2, 2009, he announced that he would not seek re-election, a decision he later regretted. In 2008 he was mentioned as a possible pick for John McCain’s vice presidential running mate. It is now rumored he is contemplating a 2012 presidential bid.

Senator Scott Brown from Massachusetts was elected on January 19, 2010 to fill the term of the late Senator Ted Kennedy. He serves on the Senate Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, and the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, front runner for the GOP Presidential nomination in 2012, currently serves as the Honorary Chairman of the Free and Strong America PAC. He is widely recognized for his leadership and accomplishments as a public servant and in private enterprise. In 2008 Governor Romney was a leading candidate for the Republican presidential nomination and distinguished himself as an important voice in favor of strengthening our economy, the military and families.
