“SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE” JOINS IN THE OLYMPIC EXCITEMENT WITH “SNL PRESENTS: SPORTS ALL-STARS,” A TWO-HOUR SPECIAL ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 31 FROM 9:00 PM – 11:00 PM ET ON NBC

NEW YORK – January 25, 2010 – “Saturday Night Live” premieres a new sports compilation, “SNL Presents: Sports All-Stars,” on Sunday, January 31 from 9:00 pm – 11:00 pm ET.

The two hour special will be hosted by Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte in character as “ESPN Classic Commentators,” “Pete Twinkle” and “Greg Stink.” “SNL Presents: Sports All-Stars” will highlight SNL appearances by iconic athletes such as Peyton Manning, Derek Jeter, LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady and Charles Barkley.

The show will debut some brand new material and also include favorite sports-themed sketches from SNL’s 35-year history, including “United Way” featuring Peyton Manning, “Sportscenter” with Ray Romano, Will Ferrell as “Harry Caray” and “ESPN Classic: Ladies Bowling.”
