A native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, ABC News’ Robin Roberts returns to neighboring New Orleans to anchor “Good Morning America” FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5 for a Super Bowl Block Party, Mardi Gras style. Roberts will report on how the New Orleans Saints’ success and road to the Super Bowl has had a positive effect on the rebuilding of the city. Reporting live from Jackson Square, Roberts, with the help of three New Orleans chefs, as well as Emeril Lagasse via Skype from Miami, will also prepare must-have Super Bowl dishes.
“Good Morning America” welcomes New Orleans residents and Mardi Gras revelers to join the broadcast, which will include other reports and surprises, from 6:00-8:00 a.m., CT at Jackson Square.
George Stephanopoulos will anchor live from Times Square Studio in New York, with Sam Champion and Juju Chang.
