Music superstar Ricky Martin makes his second live appearance on “The View,” Wednesday, February 2, and will mark the occasion with his first-ever musical performance on the show. Martin is scheduled to perform his smash single “The Best Thing About Me Is You” from the forthcoming CD, Music+Soul+Sex.

Former Governor Mitt Romney (R-MA) will make his second visit to ABC’s “The View,” live, Tuesday, February 1 and will also be joined by his wife, Ann Romney. Their scheduled appearance is part of the show’s continuing “Red, White & View” campaign highlighting interviews and informational segments that promote civic responsibility.

Co-host Whoopi Goldberg, who recently sailed aboard the new Disney Dream cruise ship, shares her adventure at sea during a special segment scheduled to air live, Wednesday, February 2.

Tim Hasselbeck, ESPN analyst and husband of “The View” co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, has tricks and tips to make anyone look clever at a Super Bowl party, Friday, February 4.

A new series, “V:Mail: Ask ‘The View’ . . “debuts on Tuesday, February 1. The first installment features a team of medical professionals — Dr. Steven Lamm, Dr. Doris Day and Dr. Donnica Moore — who will answer questions from viewers. Future episodes will feature Q&A sessions with “The View” hair and makeup teams and prominent lawyers.

Leading up to the premiere of “A Barbara Walters Special: A Matter of Life and Death” airing Friday, February 4 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on ABC, “The View” hosts will discuss heart surgery and disease and what women need to know to save themselves and their loved ones. In addition to exclusive clips from the special, Barbara Walters’ cardiologist, Dr. Jerry Gliklich, is a scheduled guest on Friday, February 4. Dr. Gliklich will discuss heart disease among men and women.  His appearance is part of a series of upcoming segments entitled “Matters of the Heart.”

The hosts also welcome guests Camille Grammer (“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills”), Samuel L. Jackson (“The Sunset Limited”), Billy Gardell (“Mike & Molly”) and Kate Walsh (ABC’s “Private Practice”) JANUARY 31 – FEBRUARY 4 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET).
