“Best Ink” — Tuesday, March 27 at 10PM ET/PT (Series Premiere)

On the series premiere of Oxygen’s “Best Ink,” viewers discover that a tattoo artist’s ability to sketch is just as important as his or her ability to create great art on skin. The artists’ drawing skills are put to the test in the first “Flash Challenge” which requires them to add their own twist to the traditional butterfly tattoo. With limited time and a special prize at stake, everyone is out to prove they are at the top of their game. In the “Ink Challenge,” the artists face the ultimate tattoo test: cover-ups. The contestants have to use the cover-up method on a pre-existing tattoo and make it look like a fresh piece of art. Every tattooist knows that this is one of the hardest things they will ever have to do — and only one of them can claim the title of “Best Ink.”

“Best Ink” is produced by Bunim/Murray Productions, a Banijay Group company, with Jonathan Murray, Gil Goldschein, and Rico Martinez serving as executive producers and Erin Cristall, Rene Rainey, and Peter Woronov serving as co-executive producers.
