NEW YORK – August 18, 2010 – Oxygen heats up fall 2010 with a trendsetting team of original programs that focus on two powerhouse brands of image makers and an exclusive peek at the life of an American mogul beginning with the series premiere of “House of Glam” on Tuesday, October 5 at 10PM ET/PT and “Running Russell Simmons” on Tuesday, November 2 at 10PM ET/PT.

This fall Generation O viewers can get a behind-the-scenes look into two worlds of glitz and glam. From best friends and fierce rivals who work at one of the entertainment industry’s hottest image making agencies, to an inside look at the life of Russell Simmons — entrepreneur, entertainment and fashion icon, philanthropist and yogi — and the powerhouse team who help to keep the machine running.

Oxygen’s fall line up is as follows:

“House of Glam” – Premieres Tuesday, October 5 at 10pm ET/PT

This docu-series features the trendsetting stylists of the B Lynn Group, one of the hottest image agencies in the entertainment business. These stylists to the stars specialize in cooking up original and unforgettable looks for some of the biggest names in music and fashion. But this show is about more than what to wear — the stylists are also best friends and fierce rivals.  “House of Glam” is produced by Left/Right Inc. and The Foundry Media Group with Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver, Brandi Simpkins and Charles Suitt serving as executive producers.  Sandy Zweig serves as co-executive producer. “House of Glam” moves into its new timeslot, Wednesdays at 9pm ET/PT, beginning November 3.

“Running Russell Simmons”– Premieres Tuesday, November 2 at 10pm ET/PT

Behind every good man is a great woman but behind every American mogul stands many great women.  The upcoming docu-series “Running Russell Simmons” series offers an exclusive peek at the life of Russell Simmons — entrepreneur, entertainment and fashion icon, philanthropist and yogi –and the powerful team who help to keep the machine running.  Simmons’ assistants not only know the ins and outs of his business deals, but also have a hand in managing his family life and party planning — a commitment that is 24/7. This group of valuable colleagues – include Simone and Christina, who serve as Simmons’ closest confidantes, fierce gatekeepers, philanthropic czars, business liaisons and more.  Additionally, the series will feature Adair, Trish and Piper who tirelessly work to keep the Russell Simmons machine well oiled and going.  Ali and Sagen are Simone and Christina’s new interns who will be shown struggling to keep up with the hectic pace that running Russell Simmons demands. Simmons’ associates, who work from his Fashion Avenue office in New York City, are entrenched in every aspect of his life.
