BURBANK, CA (Friday, July 9, 2010) — On Monday, July 12, fans of “The View” can watch and engage live with fellow viewers from all over the country during a special Twitter party as the show welcomes Barbara Walters for a brief visit via Skype. Monday’s show will mark Ms. Walter’s first nationally televised appearance since her heart valve replacement surgery. Other highlights on Monday’s show will include Hot Topics discussions and guests Angie Harmon and American Idol winner Lee DeWyze.
Two parties will be held to accommodate fans on each time zone. The first at 11/10AM Eastern/Central for the eastern and central time zones and the other at 10AM Pacific, for West Coast viewers at Twitter.com. Interested “partygoers” can find additional details on how to participate at www.abc.com/theview.
