Exclusive Sheryl Crow Concert Will Follow the Taping of Her LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN Appearance and Be Streamed Across a Variety of CBS Online Properties
Sheryl Crow joins the CBS Interactive Music Group on Tuesday, July 20 for an exclusive “Live on Letterman” webcast concert. As a part of the ongoing concert series, Crow will perform the live webcast concert from the historic Ed Sullivan Theater and play a sampling of her biggest hits, as well as new material from her forthcoming release, 100 Miles From Memphis, which will be released the same day as her “Live on Letterman” performance.
Through this interactive collaboration between television, radio and the Internet, fans can connect with their favorite talent in a multiplatform setting accessible on-air, online and on-demand. CBS will promote and broadcast the webcast across the Company’s multiple assets, with the live concert streaming on the LATE SHOW website (www.cbs.com/late_night/late_show) at approximately 8:00 PM, ET/ 5:00 PM, PT, and  airing that night on select CBS RADIO stations throughout the country. Additional access to live and on-demand video of the concert will be available through CBS Television Station websites, TV.com, ETonline.com and theinsider.com, while Last.fm and mp3.com will promote and drive tune-in through CBS.com. Furthermore, as part of CBS Interactive Music Group’s partnership with VEVO, VEVO.com will webcast Crow’s live performance with the archived on-demand broadcast available through a VEVO player on VEVO.com and VEVO on YouTube.
Crow’s exclusive webcast will follow the taping of her appearance on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, which will be broadcast later that evening, Tuesday, July 20 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.
Crow is about to unveil her soul stylings on the new studio set, 100 Miles From Memphis, to be released July 20 on A&M Records. After the release of 100 Miles From Memphis, Crow will debut a new live band to take her funky new sound on the road.
Since the 1993 release of her seven-time platinum debut set, Tuesday Night Music Club, which was nominated for five Grammys and won three, Crow has released five studio albums (each charting Top 10, four of them platinum-plus), a quadruple-platinum greatest hits collection, a Christmas album, and has performed duets with musical luminaries such as Sting, Kid Rock, Mick Jagger and others. She has also been nominated for an additional 27 Grammys, winning six more.  Her most recent nomination was for her sixth album, 2008’s critically acclaimed Detours. Crow oversaw the launch of her very own clothing line, Bootheel Trading Co., is a cancer survivor and a passionate supporter of a variety of environmental and health-related charities, including The NRDC, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and The World Food Programme.  She has sold more than 35 million records worldwide.
