One hour of sizzling “Hot Topics” on Feb.1, as the co-hosts interview first-time guest Gayle Haggard (author, Why I Stayed: The Choices I Made in my Darkest Hour), the wife of Ted Haggard, the former Evangelical preacher who admitted to soliciting a male prostitute for sex and drugs.

First time guests Andrew and Cheri Young join the hosts, live, Feb. 3. Andrew Young is the former aide to former presidential hopeful Sen. John Edwards, and is the author of the #1 best-selling book, The Politician. When the Senator’s affair with 45-year-old campaign videographer Rielle Hunter was about to be exposed, Edwards pleaded with Young to claim he had fathered the child and to leave town with Hunter. In 2007 Hunter gave birth to a baby girl and Edwards denied reports he was the father. He has since retracted the claim, a long-delayed admission.

In celebration of the upcoming 82nd Annual Academy Awards, live, Sunday, March 2 on ABC, the hosts of ABC’s “The View” roll out the red carpet and welcome a spectacular roster of Oscar and Golden Globe winners and past nominees, including 2010 Golden Globe nominee Gabourey Sidibe (“Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire”), who makes her first-ever appearance live on Feb. 3, followed by Jamie Foxx (2005 Oscar for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for “Ray”) on Feb. 5, who is promoting the new film “Valentine’s Day.” The on Feb. 2 it’s Melissa Rivers (Red Carpet Ready: Secrets for Making the Most of Any Moment You’re in the Spotlight). True, she is not an Oscar or Golden Globe winner, but she has certainly interviewed the crme de la crme in Hollywood and is no stranger to the red carpet.

Meghan McCain, daughter of former GOP presidential candidate John McCain, is confirmed to co-host, live, Feb. 4. McCain is the first featured celebrity guest to co-host “The View” for one day in February. She is the author of My Dad John McCain and blogs for TheDailyBeast.com.
