NBC’s ‘LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON’ PREMIERES ITS FIRST EVER VIDEO GAME WEEK

NEW YORK June 17, 2010 – “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” is excited to announce its first ever LNJF Video Game Week. The week showcases the late night show’s continued celebration of video games and interactive entertainment, which has previously included everything from exclusive premieres of video game trailers to interviews with top video game designers. Each night from June 21 through 25, Jimmy will give viewers a sneak peek of a yet-to-be-released video game on the program, trying each one out with the help of the makers of the games themselves.

On Monday, June 21, Microsoft Game Studios will join LNJF to demo a number of different games on their new Kinect device for Xbox 360. This new add-on device for the Xbox 360 allows the players to use their own bodies as a controller. Tuesday, June 22 will bring Activision to Studio 6B, where they will present a demo of Call of Duty: Black Ops, the newest game in the wildly popular Call of Duty line, available November 9, 2010 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. EA (Electronic Arts) will help Jimmy make it through hump day on Wednesday, June 23 by showing off Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, to be released on November 16, 2010. On Thursday, June 24, Sony stops by to present a demo of Killzone 3, the third game in the critically-acclaimed series. Finally, Nintendo will kick off the weekend on Friday, June 25 by presenting an exciting new take on a classic with Donkey Kong Country Returns, available this holiday for the Wii console.
