Missy Elliott has achieved and maintained success over three decades. The critically acclaimed, five time Grammy Award-winning producer/songwriter/singer/rapper has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. In addition to releasing innovative and acclaimed music, Missy Elliott has become synonymous with groundbreaking music videos with the video for her most recent single, “WTF (Where They From),” racking up over 40 million views on YouTube. All six of Missy Elliott’s studio albums have been RIAA platinum certified or better, making her the only female rapper to have achieved this.
