Top Three Finalists Will Compete On-Air for Title of “LIVE’s Ultimate Fan”

NEW YORK, NY – As the countdown to Regis’ final day on “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” continues, LIVE is looking far and wide to find its No. 1 fan with “LIVE’s Ultimate Fan Search.” Emmy-winning hosts Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa want to hear from people who are passionate about the show. Some loyal viewers have been watching daily for decades; others have sat in the New York studio audience dozens of times throughout the years; and some have followed the show to exotic locations around the world. Producers want to see videos and letters showcasing the fans’ fervent dedication to all things LIVE.
After the search is narrowed down, the top three finalists will be flown to New York for Regis’ final week and appear in studio on Monday, November 14, 2011. They’ll compete against each other on-air for the title of “LIVE’s Ultimate Fan,” and the grand prize of a brand-new 2012 Toyota Camry XLE.

Philbin and co-host Kelly Ripa kicked off the home stretch of their partnership in early September, with the launch of the “Regis Farewell Celebration Season,” a heartfelt, not-to-be-missed commemoration of Philbin’s years on LIVE. Throughout the fall, LIVE is showcasing Philbin’s top moments, classic memories many viewers will remember and the most entertaining highlights from the past 28 seasons of LIVE. Favorite guests will return for one last sit down with the one-of-a-kind team of Philbin and Ripa, sharing their personal recollections of years of visits to the show. In addition, dozens of celebrities have chimed in to send special messages and remember the times they’ve shared on LIVE with the indefatigable host.
