“LIVE! WITH KELLY” ANNOUNCES “COAST-TO-COAST CO-HOST SEARCH”

Top Five Finalists Will Travel to New York and Compete for a Guest Co-Host Spot With Kelly Ripa
NEW YORK, NY – June 11, 2012 – Nationally-syndicated morning show “LIVE! with Kelly” announces a nation-wide search for one lucky viewer to  have the chance to go from watching “LIVE” at home to co-hosting for a day with Kelly Ripa: “LIVE’s Coast-To-Coast Co-Host Search.”
Beginning on June 11, 2012, viewers can submit video entries, online or by mail, of up to 60 seconds in length, demonstrating why they should have a chance to co-host with Kelly. Participants are encouraged to be creative and show off their best hosting techniques. The deadline to enter is June 29 and for more details about how to enter, viewers can visit www.livewithkelly.tv  or www.cohostsearch.com for all the information.
After all of the entries have been reviewed, many will be available in a viewing gallery on the “LIVE” website during the week of July 3. The top ten semi-finalist videos will be selected and announced on July 9. Then, it will be up to the “LIVE” audience to weigh-in on their top 5 favorite video submissions.
The top 5 finalists will be announced on July 11, and the co-host hopefuls will travel to New York during the week of July 16 to compete for a chance to become Kelly’s guest co-host on July 24.
“LIVE! with Kelly” is distributed in national syndication by Disney-ABC Domestic Television.
