“JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE” CELEBRATES EIGHTH SEASON ON ABC

Jimmy Kimmel welcomes Harrison Ford, who delivers the late-night host a very special anniversary gift; Kristen Bell, who discusses her new movie, “When in Rome”; and Silversun Pickups will perform on the Bud Light Golden Wheat outdoor stage at on Tuesday, January 26 at 12:05 a.m., ET on ABC.
In the last seven years, the show has welcomed such notable guests as Robert Downey Jr., Tom Cruise, Matthew McConaughey, Charlize Theron, Don Cheadle, Hilary Swank, Justin Timberlake, Orlando Bloom, Cameron Diaz, Robin Williams, Kanye West, Heidi Klum, Kobe Bryant, Janet Jackson, Robin Williams, Regis Philbin, Salma Hayek, Mike Tyson, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon… well, almost Matt Damon. Musical performances have included such notable as Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Mariah Carey, Jay- Z, Tim McGraw, Incubus, Linkin Park, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Kanye West, Black Eyed Peas, Destiny’s Child, The Killers, Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Clarkson, Green Day, Morrissey and 50 Cent.
Throughout the series’ run, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” has earned Emmy Awards for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics and Outstanding Picture Editing of Clip Packages for Talk, Performance, Award or a Reality-Competition Program – both for the “I’m F***ing Matt Damon” video sensation — as well as earning multiple nominations for Outstanding Lighting Direction and Technical Direction.
Packed with hilarious comedy bits and a house band led by Jimmy’s childhood best friend, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” features a diverse lineup of guests that includes celebrities, athletes, musicians, comedians and humorous human interest subjects. Each night, Jimmy delivers up-to-the minute news addressing the hottest topics of the day in his monologue.
Jimmy Kimmel and Jill Leiderman serve as executive producers of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Jason Schrift and Douglas DeLuca serve as co-executive producers. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” is shot live in front of a studio audience and produced by Jackhole Industries in association with ABC Studios.
