Amdur Productions Announces The Sixth Annual Chicago Botanic Garden Art Festival

Chicago, IL (June 2016) -Located on the Esplanade at the Chicago Botanic Garden, located at 1000 Lake Cook Rd, Glencoe, IL. The festival takes place on July 2 & 3, 2016, Saturday & Sunday, 10am-5pm. The Festival offers original works for purchase from a select group of 100 juried artists. The festival showcases art which embodies a botanic theme, use or material.

This unique art festival brings art of botanic-theme, material or use. Paintings, photography, ceramics, cement, metal, fiber, wood, jewelry, and other pieces to the Chicago Botanic Garden. Find remarkable items to purchase or admire them during your visit to the sixth annual event. Bring budding artists to the Family Activity tent to create their own masterpieces!

View masters at work with interactive art demos and booth chats taking place all weekend long. Easy listening music compliments the beautiful Chicago Botanic Garden for a very enjoyable weekend. A full listing of artists appearing at this event can be found at Amdur Productions’ website.
No admission fee. Regular parking fees apply. Free parking every day of the year for Garden members.

This year at the festivals Amdur Productions has started a new charity initiative called the Green Ribbon Project. The project connects the festival with an important cause and aims to stimulate art buying at the festival. Participating artists put a green ribbon on a piece of their choice in their booth and when the piece is sold the artist agrees to give 10% of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society, which is the dedicated charity for the Chicago Botanic Garden Art Festival.
