FRED WILLARD GUEST STARS AS ROB’S FATHER, “GEORGE”, ON THE NEW CBS COMEDY SERIES “ROB”

LOS ANGELES — Emmy Award-nominated actor and comedian Fred Willard is set to guest star on CBS’s new comedy “Rob” as “George,” Rob’s reserved father.

Willard is well known for his roles on Christopher Guest movies such as “This is Spinal Tap,” “Waiting for Guffman,” “Best in Show,” “A Mighty Wind” and “For Your Consideration.” He earned three Emmy nominations for his role as “Hank MacDougal” on the CBS comedy series “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

“Rob” stars Rob Schneider, Claudia Bassols, Cheech Marin, Diana Maria Riva, Eugenio Derbez and Lupe Ontiveros and premieres Thursday, Jan. 12 (8:31-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
