NEW YORK– January 19, 2011 – For the sixth consecutive month, a Syfy Saturday Original Movie shattered the two million total viewers mark when Behemoth gorged on 2.16 million during its premiere on Saturday, January 15, from 9-11PM (ET/PT)

Behemoth, which starred Ed Quinn (Eureka), also generated 844,000 Adults 25-54 while averaging a 1.6 HH rating. The movie was a production of Cinetel.

The Syfy Saturday Original Movie hot streak began on August 21 with Lake Placid 3 (3.0 million), followed by Sharktopus (2.5 million) on September 25, Red: Werewolf Hunter (2.06 million) on October 30, Triassic Attack (2.0 million) on November 27 and Ice Quake (2.32 million) on December 11.

Next up — pop princess rivals Debbie Gibson and Tiffany collide in the Saturday Original Movie Mega Python Vs Gatoroid on Saturday, January 29, at 9PM (ET/PT).
