FINAL NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR FAVORITE BREAKTHROUGH ARTIST IN 7th ANNUAL T-MOBILE AWARD FOR THE “2010 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS”, LIVE, NOVEMBER 21 ON THE ABC TELEVISION NETWORK

Fans Can Vote for the Winner Via T-Mobile Text Messaging or
at ama.abc.com Beginning Today, October 25
The “2010 American Music Awards” is asking the public to cast their votes for the winner of the T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist Award, the only award which determines the fans’ favorite artist who is having a breakout year. This is also the only award on the AMAs where fans can text in their votes and continue to vote during the show. The winner of the T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist Award will be revealed during the live telecast of the special, airing SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

For the last two weeks, fans voted to determine the top four nominees who are now vying for the T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist Award. T-Mobile USA customers can text message using their phones by sending the letter corresponding to their favorite artist to short code “AMA” (262). Message & data rates may apply. In addition, all fans can cast their votes via the internet at ama.abc.com. Corresponding letters to text for each artist are as follows:

A. Justin Bieber
B. Lady Antebellum
C. Travie McCoy
D. Mike Posner

Voting for the award winner is now open and will conclude at approximately 9:00 p.m., ET during the American Music Awards on November 21.

The nominees were the top new artists based on sales and airplay from December 2009 – August 2010.
