EMMY AWARD WINNER MICHAEL BADALUCCO (“THE PRACTICE”) TO JOIN “THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS”

Badalucco to Appear in a Recurring Role Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 13

Emmy Award winner Michael Badalucco will join the #1 daytime drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, in the recurring role of Hogan, a charismatic tough guy bookie who will be involved with Jeff (Ted Shackelford) and Kevin (Greg Rikaart) in finding new avenues of revenue for Jeff and Gloria’s (Judith Chapman) nightclub/restaurant, Gloworm.  Badalucco’s episodes will begin airing Wednesday, Oct. 13, on the CBS Television Network.

Badalucco won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in 1999 for his role as Jimmy Berluti in David E. Kelley’s “The Practice,” a role he played from 1997-2004.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has been the #1-rated daytime drama for more than 21 years.  The show is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM, ET; 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
