In a project that took seven years to complete and was co-produced by Academy Award winner Tilda Swinton, I Am Love is the stylish story of a wealthy Milanese family who live in a beautiful, carefully ordered world. Swinton plays the matriarch of this wealthy, distinguished industrial family when a chance encounter ignites her long repressed passions and sets her on a journey of glorious awakening. Director, Co-Writer and Producer Luca Guadagnino recalls Visconti in his visionary ability to analyze upper-class mores, sexual and class politics. Score by acclaimed Pulitzer Prize-winning composer John Adams, one of America’s most vital and eloquent composers.

Raf Simons for Jil Sander designed all the clothes for Tilda Swinton starting from the early stages of the film’s development.  His work is deeply immersed in the film’s plot creating a stunning collaboration with the Award-winning actress and one of the first teamings of actress and world class fashion designer since Catherine Denueve and Yves Saint Laurent in the Sixties.  Silvia Fendi, who is credited as an Associate Producer on the film and the designer for Fendi Uomo, created all the tailored looks for the actors in the movie.  I AM LOVE will be screening in NY prior to Sundance.
