CBS OPENS NEW THURSDAY TIME PERIOD WITH A “BIG BANG”

CBS Marks “The Big Bang Theory’s” Time Period Move with a Four-Episode Marathon on Thursday, Sept. 16, 8:00-10:00 PM

CBS will mark THE BIG BANG THEORY’s move to its new Thursday time period with a four-episode marathon on Sept. 16 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), one week prior to the start of the 2010-2011 season.

The marathon will consist of last season’s final four episodes:  “The Spaghetti Catalyst,” “The Plimpton Stimulation,” “The Staircase Implementation” and “The Lunar Excitation.”  The episodes are as follows:

8:00-8:30 “The Spaghetti Catalyst” – Sheldon gets caught in a lie while trying to please both Leonard and Penny.

8:30-9:00 “The Plimpton Stimulation” – Leonard and Sheldon compete for the attention of a famous female physicist.  Judy Geer guest stars.

9:00-9:30 “The Staircase Implementation” – Leonard tells Penny about how he met Sheldon for the first time.

9:30-10:00 “The Lunar Excitation” – Howard and Raj set up an online dating profile for Sheldon.  Sara Gilbert and Mayim Bialik guest star.

THE BIG BANG THEORY stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar.  Chuck Lorre, Bill Prady and Lee Aronsohn are executive producers for Chuck Lorre Productions, Inc. in association with Warner Bros. Television.

The fourth season of THE BIG BANG THEORY premieres on Thursday, Sept. 23 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) and is followed by the series premiere of $#*! MY DAD SAYS (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT).
