CBS and Cookie Jar Entertainment present the new children’s program schedule, premiering Saturday, Feb. 5 on the CBS Television Network.  The three-hour, E/I-compliant programming block exclusive to broadcast television is comprised of episodes of returning favorites “Busytown Mysteries,” “Doodlebops Rockin’ Road Show,” “Trollz” and “Horseland.”

The following are show descriptions:

BUSYTOWN MYSTERIES (E/I, 3-7, TV-Y)

Inspired by the beloved works of best-selling children’s author Richard Scarry, BUSYTOWN MYSTERIES brings the popular adventures of Busytown to preschoolers with an educational, problem-solving twist.  Children can follow classic characters such as Huckle, Sally, Lowly, Hilda, Pig Will and Pig Won’t while they travel around Busytown on fun-filled adventures looking for answers to life’s puzzles.  They are always up for a new adventure and with everyone driving his or her own unique vehicle, such as the iconic Apple Car and Pickle Car, getting there is half the fun.

DOODLEBOPS ROCKIN’ ROAD SHOW (E/I, 3-8, TV-Y)

An animated music-filled comedy that follows the Doodlebops-Deedee, Rooney and Moe-on zany adventures through the Doodlenet as they help young fans solve pre-school relatable problems.  The show assists children in facing situations and solving problems through courage, inventiveness, and logical reasoning; encourages an understanding and appreciation of music, physical activity and health; and promotes open-mindedness.  DOODLEBOPS ROCKIN’ ROAD SHOW also helps to engage kids in new learning, and gives them a chance to hone and develop their burgeoning sense of humor.

TROLLZ (E/I, 8-12, TVY 7)                                                                                                          An animated adventure that follows five best friends who live by the credo B.F.F.L., Best Friends for Life.  The storylines reflect the everyday lives of today’s young pre-teens-the trials and tribulations of teenage friendships, and dealing with issues such as popularity, love, loyalty, identity and integrity.  While they have real pre-teen issues, they are also interested in fashion, hair, malls, “spell phones,” magic, parties and all of the fun that goes with being a pre-teen.

HORSELAND (E/I, 9-11, TV-Y7)

Join the animated journey of four amazing kids and their horses who come together in an incredible place called Horseland.  As these friends strive to become the best competitive riders they can possibly be, the kids (and their equine companions) must learn to deal with difficult situations and confront an array of problems that put their honesty, integrity, self-confidence-and sometimes even their friendships-to the test.
