NEW YORK – July 19, 2012 – Bravo once again dominated cable’s unscripted television landscape as the network received seven Primetime Emmy® Nominations from the Academy of Television Arts & Science for the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy® Awards. The network received five honors for its Emmy-Award winning series “Top Chef,” earning its sixth consecutive nomination in the “Outstanding Reality Competition Program” category, plus two nominations for Bravo’s first-ever fully integrated transmedia play “Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen.” Additionally, two-time Emmy-Award winning Kathy Griffin received a nomination in the “Outstanding Variety Special” category for “Kathy Griffin: Tired Hooker” and “Inside the Actors Studio” received its 15th nomination for Outstanding Nonfiction Series. Primetime Emmy® Awards celebrate excellence in national prime time programming, awarding top honors at the annual creative arts gala and prime time awards telecast.

Bravo’s “Top Chef” became the first and only cable network program to win in the “Outstanding Reality Competition Program” category in 2010 and extended Bravo’s record as the only cable network with nominations in this category for eight consecutive years. “Top Chef” received five total nominations with additional nods in several other categories including “Outstanding Cinematography For Reality Programming,” “Outstanding Special Class – Short-format Nonfiction Programs,” “Outstanding Picture Editing For Reality Programming,” and “Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media – Enhancement To A Television Program Or Series.”
