David Hasselhoff makes a brief return to the #1 daytime drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, in the role of Dr. William ‘Snapper’ Foster, Jr., Tuesday, June 15 through Friday, June 18 and Monday, June 21 on the CBS Television Network.  Hasselhoff originally played the role from 1975-1982.

In addition, Hasselhoff’s daughter, Taylor Ann, will make her daytime debut, playing a nurse in scenes with her father on Wednesday, June 16.

“I was so honored to be asked back by the Bell family for a short visit to Genoa City, this time with my daughter, Taylor Ann,” said Hasselhoff.  “It was surreal and felt like I never left.”

The character of Snapper Foster has been working in London, but returns home to visit his sister, Jill (played by Jess Walton), and finds himself unexpectedly caught up in a family drama.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS has been the #1-rated daytime drama for more than 20 years.  The show is broadcast weekdays (12:30-1:30 PM, ET; 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon, PT) on the CBS Television Network and is produced by Bell Dramatic Serial Company, in association with Sony Pictures Television.
