In the blink of an eye, their relationship transforms from strictly platonic to a heated romance. Their blissful affair soon turns sour as Amber adamantly attempts to calm Michael’s free spirit and convince him to marry for a second time. After a night on the town with friends erupts in a heated dispute, Amber offers Michael an ultimatum: marry me or face the consequences. When a neighbor discovers Michael’s dead body outside of Michael’s home, the police suspect that his death is the result of a burglary gone wrong. However, after Amber suddenly disappears and someone from her past emerges, she quickly turns from shy pupil to unstable murder suspect.
