CRUMBS Bake Shop Has Created the Official “3000th Show” Signature Size Cupcake to Be Sold

In just seven days the festivities begin on ABC’s “The View.” Undeniably one of daytime television’s most popular and most talked-about programs, “The View” will celebrate its 3000th show, live, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 23 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET). Award-winning writer, producer, actress and comedienne Tina Fey (“30 Rock”) is the show’s featured guest. Fey helped popularize “The View” through a series of entertaining parodies she created during her tenure as head writer of “SNL.”
Nothing is off limits during this one-hour celebration reflecting upon the show’s inception, and featuring a spectacular on-air video retrospective set to include memorable moments, unforgettable guests, show “firsts,” all the past and present co-hosts, the hottest topics, fashions and trends of 1997 (the year “The View” premiered) and the show’s “worst” moments and segments (anyone recall the “Pizza Dance?”), according to show producers and staff. The hour also includes “surprise” guests, a moving “In Memoriam” tribute, one big ticket audience giveaway and the official unveiling of the CRUMBS Bake Shop official “3000th Show” signature size cupcake that will be sold at all CRUMBS locations as well as online (www.crumbs.com) beginning September 23 to coincide with its on-air debut during the 3000th Show.
Scheduled guests for the week of Sept. 20-24 are as follows (subject to change):
MONDAY, SEPT. 20 – “Red, White & View,” the show’s campaign committed to political guests and discussions welcomes former President Jimmy Carter (author, White House Diary).
TUESDAY, SEPT. 21 – Sigourney Weaver (“You Again”); Tori Spelling (author, Presenting Tallulah).
WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 22 – Nathan Lane (ABC’s “Modern Family”); Rob Morrow (“The Whole Truth”).
